SD card write error - The disk is write-protected.

I've started seeing this issue a few weeks ago:

The disk is write-protected.
Remove the write-protedtion or use another disk.

Spend a few hours on this issue - most suggestions on the web were pretty useless, except one where a guy running Linux was getting the same error.

Ended up being some dust inside the card reader - used some Air Duster Cleaner and everything is back to normal - can Read-Write-Delete from SD card now.

Nintendo Wii & Photo Channel

Wii Photo Channel is terrible - doesn't recognize/play any of the supposedly supported audio/video formats:

Photo Channel 1.0 has mp3 support and 1.1 doesn’t – why remove something that was already there????

And what's up with DVD Channel - when is that coming?

It should have been released long time ago instead of silly Internet Channel - who needs it anyways????

I swear Nintendo is forcibly pushing people into using Homebrew Channel with all this nonsense.
